Footage of breakdancers are re-edited, motion stabilizing their heads so no matter where they dance their head remains in the same place. Projected onto the wall, a discoball is hung in front of the area where the dancer’s heads are. This causes the light from their heads to explode around the room as the discoball spins.
This piece recognizes dance as a spatial artform where dancers have to think about their environment and how they are interacting with it. Additionally, it is about those times you go to a dance club, dance for hours, and let your mind wander.
