Building Tensegrity

This form alludes to architectural cross-beams that are the structural building blocks of buildings. Created here in lights as a ‘virtual’ building block taken from the digital world and placed in our physical world.

The tensegrity series of works use lights as physical pixels to create sculptural geometric forms. They pull pixels away from the two dimensional surface of the screen, and then arrange them in true three-dimensional space.
