In this abstract mixed media painting on bristol paper, I’ve employed a palette of soft, muted colors that blend harmoniously to create a serene atmosphere. Swirls of turquoise and hints of peach dance across the canvas evoking summer. The inclusion of darker elements, like the solitary black shape and thin, erratic lines, introduces contrast and tension, suggesting the complexity of emotions or experiences beneath the surface.
The composition is intentionally non-representational, inviting viewers to project their feelings or thoughts onto it. The overall effect elicits interpretations of nature’s elements, such as water and light, or even emotional landscapes, reflecting introspection and a delicate balance between chaos and calm.
Through this work, I aim to express the interplay of fleeting moments and the beauty that can emerge from the abstract, encouraging each onlooker to find their unique narrative within the layered textures and colors.
