I was experimenting with ways to abstract the elements of a bud in a spectrum of green hues, capturing the delicate, fleeting nature of a bud, new life and the harmonious balance of nature and music.

Set against a backdrop of sheet music, the layered composition creates movement and depth, drawing the eye into the central design. The broad white border against the black mat enhances the contrast between the organic, fluid green forms and the structured, linear musical notation.
