I was hanging out with a friend a couple of months ago, on a FaceTime call. We were in different parts of the country, but working to stay connected. And the light on his face, while he sat in freezing temperatures in his garage...well the lighting was just right. I grabbed a couple of screen shots and the next morning set out to do a smaller sketch. This is my larger portrait.
