Indira Martina Morre
Indira Martina Morre, based in Berkeley and Dubrovnik, creates layered paintings exploring technology, nature, and the unseen networks that connect us.
MessageIndira Martina Morre is a Croatian-American interdisciplinary artist whose paintings and mixed media works quietly explore the intersections of technology, nature, and the human spirit. Her art delves into the networks—both visible and invisible—that connect us, using layering and overpainting techniques to create depth and texture. The imagery in her work ranges from atmospheric landscape abstractions to cosmic figures and internal landscapes, all reflecting the intricate relationships between the natural and constructed worlds. Indira’s artistic perspective has been shaped by her experiences in both Berkeley, California, and Dubrovnik, Croatia—two places whose light and history deeply inform her work. She holds an MFA and BA with a double major in Art History and Art Practice from UC Berkeley. With numerous awards and exhibitions to her name, Indira continues to weave the threads of her life and experiences into each piece she creates.
