22x30 Mixed Media Original Painting.

I've wanted to add more abstract imagery in my figurative art, but I needed to really allow the patterns and textures of the textiles and collage I used to come through.

Faces tell stories on their own, but I wanted to add a more tactile feel to the story of this imagery through the use of vintage history pages, along with leather, silk, wood and fabric.

When I touch this painting, not only does the imagery tell a story, but it feels like a story, too! It's meant for you to savor, no matter the season.
