Thank you to Claudia Stone for the generous donation of this work. This probably came to Allan Stone's collection from Richard Minsky, an American scholar of book binding and a book artist. He notes, "Over the decades I acquired and sold some leaves, generally from broken books that I got from Sid Solomon at the Pageant Book Shop. He sold off many books, mostly antiphonaries, as individual pages, and I bought the empty bindings from him to recycle as books and boxes. Occasionally they had some pages left in them. This may have been from one of those."
