The artist wrote, "Art has always been a single constant point that my life has revolved around. My work is imbued with the loneliness and alienation that I feel, as well as the trauma that marked the early years of my young adulthood. Within its process, I am simultaneously performing an act of escapism and catharsis. During the times when I cannot speak for myself, these images speak for me."
