Sonja’s love of natural light, old school film photography and the vibrant color of oil on canvas brings her pursuit of creative projects to life. Favourite creative days are explored with her Nikon Fm2 wrapped around her neck, printing under the red glow of the safe light in the darkroom or whiling away the day in the painting studio to some epic tunes with husband Warwick and their two adoring French bulldogs.

Having worked as a professional photographer in various parts of the world over the past 20 years Sonja has also shown numerous Fine Art exhibitions showcasing her personal style of visual storytelling and the evocative quality of natural light.

In her spare time she loves to surf Noosa’s iconic points with her boys and hang out in front of a fire with a ukulele and her friends and family.
