What if your wrinkles are there to keep your most treasured memories? Would you still want to get rid of them?

This piece was made for the Arcana Show at the Columbia Art League. Each artist drew a card from a tarot deck and then created something in their style and media. All pieces were then photographed and printed as a new tarot deck.

I drew the high priestess card and learned it was about inner instincts, reflection, mystery and feminine energy. I wanted to depict something different but related. The close up of an elephant felt appropriate to me because they are matriarchal and mysterious.
