Hand dyed silk straws constructed out of stiffened silk and arranged on panel

This installation was created for this particular gallery as they offered me a show.
The piece is constructed with hand dyed, stiffened and formed straws that are arranged in beautiful color gradations through the piece. The colors are created from hand dyed silk pieces, so the colors are very rich and beautiful. Another example of small pieces combined to create the whole. The entire piece measured 50 ft
