Proximité N°4 – fine art photograph Limited Edition of 24
This sequence of twelve black and white fine art photographs is a sequence of generated images. The prompt for generation is a quotation from the chapter 'Le ritornello' in Deleuze and Guattari's 'Mille plateaux': "Sometimes, one leaves the territorial assemblage for other assemblages or for somewhere else entirely: interassemblage, components of passage, or even escape. " The images in the sequence vary on similar parameters set within Stable Diffusion. On view is a street scene, where sinuous objects assemblages in close-up are the scene's focal point. The prints are made in warm greys, creating a nostalgic feel for the images.
The image is printed on an Epson SC P800 printer modified to use Piezography Pro carbon-based black-and-white ink. Its image area is 16.5 x 16.5 cm on a 21.5 x 21.5 cm sheet of Hahnemühle Baryta FB 350 g paper.
