The premises of the series as well as the composition of each image is determined by a series of numbers that form a part of the value of the number Pi in hexadecimal notation. The colours of each image are chosen from a range of 48 possible colours. The direction of the lines is chosen from among 12 possible directions. Pi determines the position, colour, and width of each line within each image

This series of twelve black-and-white prints is a sequence of images shot in Elliðarárdalur in Reykjavík. These trace the dykes for rainwater by the path, with an overview across the forest and the river to the neighbourhood on the other side. Carbon-based ink prints ensure optimal quality.
Shot on a Fujifilm GFX100S with a GF30 mm f/3.5 lens, these image is printed on an Epson SC P800 with Piezography Pro ink. Its image area is 16 x 20 cm on 22.5 x 25.4 cm Hahnemühle Baryta FB 350 g paper.
