The houses rise like a sheer cliff edge
Arenella is the outermost location of the Palermo spiral, a coastal town located on the edge of the Gulf of Palermo, northwest of the port. The beach is under a mountain headland and rocky. There, the houses rise like cliffs from the shore, ancient fishermen's houses. Now the beach is a popular destination for locals, as well as where owners of boats and yachts moor their vessels. Here, the houses on the beach comb are the subject, as they have been built on top of an ancient foundation in an almost organic way.
