Ladakh is a remote and enchanting place. I met this vegetable vendor in a street market in a street market in the capital city, Leh. Her traditional clothes and her beautiful face spoke to me of continuity, perseverance and grace. I love capturing the essential humanity of interesting people from all walks of life.
