Sometimes I draw into the watercolor teaching samplers I have created as a part of teaching my watercolor workshops. When I sit down to draw I look at the (often) abstract watercolor samplers and 'find' an image in them that means something to me, or I use ink to draw into a watercolor that needs just a little more attention to bring out its possibilities.
