Eastern Prairie White Fringed Orchids were once common, but due to the loss of habitat it is now listed as Endangered in Wisconsin and as a Threatened plant Federally , The flowers are fragrant at night and typically are pollinated by nocturnal hawk moths, including sphinx moths.
