Hector Vizoso is an American abstract expressionist painter.

Born in New York City in 1961 he currently resides in Palm Springs.  Hector has a Bachelor’s Degree from Hunter College and studied under Robert Swain, Ralph Humphrey, and Vincent Longo in New York. These artists inspired Hector to explore color and form. The use of acrylic paint allows Hector to apply thin washes of color on the canvas while simultaneously invoking a sense of movement.  His brush stroke emphasizes the sweep of his arm creating a fluid and spontaneous painting.
