This abstract landscape is a deconstruction and reconstruction of the horizon line. Figuratively in the sense of the sun peeking through in various layers, some straight horizontal lines and other jagged from how the oil and cold wax is applied and also how ripped canvas is reconfigured and reconstructed onto the piece. I am interested in the evolution and constance of destruction and creation as evident in nature.
