Commissioned by a collector in Michigan, I bring my love of the Michigan, my homeland, with the native wildflowers and rivers throughout the state. I also pay homage to my family's Anishinaabe heritage through the use of woodlands style beadwork motifs in adjacent Wisconsin and Canada.
