This piece was inspired by the angst of motherhood as an artist. My time was mostly taken up by raising two children and I struggled to find time to make art. I imagined if I could clone myself or split time itself between my responsibilities and working on my dreams, then I could possibly get it all done. The rectangular forms represent my days and how filled up they were with responsibilities and errands, but if I could find time inbetween all of these obligations, or cause time to pause, then I could also work on my art career.
