This was the summer view out of my studio in Limoges, Eastern Ontario. The land was very flat and very black with rich soil and a water level just 4 feet below the surface. Every farmer and horse rancher grew crops that flourished. The sky was high and wide and always ripe with beautiful clouds, even in winter. Very little traffic passed our way so the Silence was outstanding. The Silence drew me in to a major theme that lasted for more than 10 years.
