A radiant harmony of pearls and gemstones, this sat lara haar—a traditional seven-stranded gold necklace, exemplifies royal refinement and masterful craftsmanship. Each strand is composed of lustrous pearls, rhythmically interspersed with vibrant emerald beads, and anchored by finely set central gold pendants that grow in scale as they descend, enhancing the cascading effect. The strands are held together at the top by triangular terminals, delicately decorated with floral enamel work. Rows of green and pink beads near the terminals subtly introduce colour contrast. The necklace finishes in an elongated central drop with a floral pendant and a suspended emerald bead. A comparable necklace is illustrated in Traditional Jewelry of India by Oppi Untracht (p. 374)
