Crafted in gold with a hinged opening, this bracelet features the classic kundan technique, where diamonds are set in gold foil to enhance their brilliance. The outer surface displays teardrop-shaped diamonds against a vivid green enamel background, while the reverse reveals intricate red and green floral enamel work on a white base. Such hidden designs were a private delight for the wearer and also served to protect the metal from abrasion, showcasing both beauty and function. A similar bracelet is illustrated in Indian Jewellery: The V&A Collection by Nick barnard (Pg 58).
