Born to Dutch dairy farmers in LA, lived life cross-culturally, especially in Africa , now pursuing my first love, making art.
MessageWe moved over the winter, so spring has held some surprises. Beautiful flowering bushes that were playing dead all winter sprung to life with gorgeous flowers. A whole patch of mint—just what I need for much-loved Jordanian lemon mint drinks. Dogwoods covered in blooms. A Japanese maple with red leaves first, now turning green. It’s enough to take your breath away.
And from what I understand, it’s good for our souls to be in nature, to take it in. To get away from man-made from time to time. To enjoy a flower.
