MessageThe perfect life. The stereotype.
It never happens.
Life has its wrinkles, curve balls, surprises.
And I worry and fret I'm not living up to expectations.
But the unexpected turns in life are what makes us unique & interesting.
Unplanned, but no mistake!
I’m embracing it all! No shame.

I did some nature journaling of a tree. A special tree, in that it grew diagonally, not the usual straight up tree. As I sketched it I noticed a limb had been cut off--a scar gave evidence of the moment something was cut off, and the tree had to change direction. Which is what made it so interesting!
It reminds me of this painting.
