In “Reflections of Fall,” I used abstraction to express the stillness that follows change. The process mirrors the rhythm of the desert after rain — slow, reflective, and alive with subtle color. For me, painting becomes a meditative act, a way to connect with the cycles of growth, decay, and renewal that define both nature and the human spirit.
