A thunder cloud cracks with lightning in a green sky. This rare phenomenon of a green sky can occur during severe and tropical storms in the right circumstances: in the late afternoon when the sun is low, the clouds are very dense and the water droplets very large. In these conditions, the red of the setting sun is absorbed through the water droplets suspended in the storm, which radiate green frequencies. It indicates a very real threat of a forming deadly storm to sublime effect.
Clouds are always moving, but so slowly it's easy not to notice. Our sky is a intense ecosystem constantly moving hot and cold air, forming clouds and precipitation, yet, to us, it is a place of slow time, a visual space to daydream. Dark storm clouds creep in silently to the human eyes, yet up in the atmosphere are epic reactions and pressures about to make us notice - and remind us that we are at the mercy of mother nature.
