This is a dream scape. I used multiple references but didn't take any of them literally, this is my own fantastical under water world fantasy. My love with turtles is nothing new, and has been ignited by the turtles in our river in Rapid City. I can only dream of a water this blue. This painting is about serene quiet connection with nature.
