Messy spaghetti. As a parent of adult children it has been a while parenting little ones through the messy meal times, but I am sure every parent can relate! I wanted to use the same soft colours throughout the painting to enhance the delicate feeling of the child's face.

This painting has soft yet expressive brushwork, the textured background dances around the figure. Subtle hints of pastels blend with the realism of the child's gaze, creating a bridge between dream and reality.
