My friend Doug past away December 2023 and I made this painting in his memory. Whenever I was having tea at Doug and Olive's house , we would be sitting with cats on our laps. He loved cats, and his dog Sam. There is a glass stained piece in front of his kitchen window, and I wanted to capture that in this painting as well as his work clothes. Even though he was 90, he was still working in his wood shop and on his acreage.
