Gwen Meharg

One of Kandinsky's mobiles hangs in the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in my home town of Fort Worth, Texas. When the guards are not around I will use my trombone player lungs and blow to make the mobile rotate!

The power of a single breath in a very large room moves the art and I am reminded that everything is connected whether we see it or not. The belief in autonomy is a mistaken belief.

This is also in my living room.
