57th Anniversary Juried Member's Exhibit - 2025

Margaret Trent draws her inspiration from nature. The daughter of an archeological illustrator, she was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences. Margaret is a member of several organizations focused on botanical and natural science illustration, including the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, and its Northwest chapter. She works primarily with colored pencils on drafting film, and is also a member of the Colored Pencil Society in both America and the United Kingdom.

Margaret’s work has been juried into shows both nationally and internationally. Her drawing "Corvus" recently won a first place award, and her work "Rhododendron cinnabarinum" is included in the permanent Florilegium collection at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, in Scotland.
