A cast-resin detailed miniature of the Coliseum in Rome, made by Kabaya Toys (Japan) as part of the World Heritage Sites miniature series. The piece includes the resin figure, a mini-brochure, and original packaging. The amphitheater was opened in 80 CE. While often featured in various accounts and media, it is uncertain whether early Christian martyrs met their fate here. Stones from the Coliseum were used to construct the cathedrals of St. Peter and St. John Lateran, as well as for other buildings and fortifications in Rome.
