The Pig and the Pendulum is my original design automaton, in an attempt to "test" just one idea at a time, thinking it would be easier. That was not the case, and this piece took quite a bit longer than anticipated, plus it broke after just a few tries (the little pigs came off their background!) This piece was also for an upcoming Ridgefield Art Association show, called "Beyond the Frame," which happily fits the theme.
