Playing out the game of an abusive relationship, they are waiting to take the next hit, the next blow to the ego, the next abuse to their self esteem, the next fight for control. Turn them around and they are pink little naked vulnerable versions of themselves.

Every outburst, every attack, if not addressed, damages one of the emotional spots at the core of the relationship, of the person, loosing Trust, Love, Spontaneity, Joy, Hope, Enthusiasm, Respect, Confidence, and Desire, a little bit, over time until there is nothing left.
