A Place for My Fears, a wood dough, encaustic and wood sculpture, is a shrine to the tossed away. It was created one bone head at a time. My husband would bring me a new skull every time he had left over bits of wood dough he used to repair clients projects. I started to accumulate them on my studio window sill. One day he had one that stuck to a piece of wood. I gathered them all up and stuffed them in a shelf and covered them with encaustic wax.
