Message
Gina Barnes is a contemporary artist based in Orange County, California. With a lifelong passion for creativity, she explored art through interior design before fully embracing painting as her true calling. Largely self-taught, Gina developed a vibrant and intuitive style defined by bold color, emotional depth, and a balance of chaos and harmony.
Her artistic journey began with local exhibitions and quickly expanded as she earned recognition as an award-winning artist and served as Gallery Director at Showcase Gallery in Santa Ana. Inspired by her mother and grandmother, both creative women, Barnes’s work pays homage to resilience, intuition, and feminine strength.
Her paintings have been shown across Southern California, including Guest Artist at Quorum Gallery (Laguna Beach), Showcase Gallery (Santa Ana), Marriott Costa Mesa Gallery, Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center, and ARTventure Costa Mesa, among others.

Gina Barnes is an abstract painter living in Southern California. Over the years, Gina has directed her creative energy into a variety of passions including painting, interior design, wood carving, sewing, quilting, and creating original holiday décor. She’s earned certificates of design from both University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School) and Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, California.
