Walking around Tower Point in the Village of Metchosin, it is impossible not to stop and admore the coastline and the magnificent scenery. Sketchbook in hand I made a pastel drawing and later this small painting of the scene. In the background across the Juan de Fuca Strait are the rising peaks of Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park of Washington State USA.
