'Be More Like George' is a snapshot of a typical morning street scene in front of this beautiful old building in Fitzroy, Melbourne. I love this area and was originally planning to paint the entire building, but instead, decided to focus on the people going about their daily routine.
Using a unique combination of impressionism and hand cut stencils, I am elevating a mundane work-a-day scene, into something that is beautiful and unexpected.

The background is multi-layered and textured to symbolise generations of history and also to create visual interest.
The edges are painted black and is ready to hang.
