VISIONS
This series is about showing the unseen. There are worlds within worlds, and every scenery, any so called "banal" scene from our immediate surroundings contains more than what we see at first glance. A more cautious, careful, tender look, and a creative depiction of reality through lens of the camera lens can tell us more about nature, and, as a mirroring effect, about ourselves, our dreams, our fears, our legends, our culture, our expectations, and our concerns. For this project, I selected images of snow, sand, stone, ice, trees (most of the time, details or close-ups with very little adjustments in brightness and contrasts) that show imaginary or dreamlike landscape, or in which I detected and expressed a representation of the human figure, or at least what we culturally conceive as basic human instincts, life, and death : childhood, women, men, couples, assemblies, fossils (bones), ghosts.
