Despite realistic elements, my art is never about pure depiction. Internal processes and external circumstances intertwine, like a struggle for a language or a form in which there is more to discover than what seems so obvious on superficial inspection.

My concern is to make vulnerability, destruction and survival mechanisms and strategies visible in nature.
