In this monumental metal sculpture, artists Robert Clements and Harold Rittenbery took inspiration in the spirit of family that characterizes East Point. The sculpture depicts a mother reading a book to her child who is holding a toy train and airplane, in turn references to the transportation history of this municipality. The figure stands on a metal foundation cut in the shape of the State of Georgia.
