Miami-based mixed media artist Frankie Hsu creates immersive works that reflect the delicate relationship between the natural world and the cosmos. Through her exploration of fluid abstraction and intricate textural patterns, she invites viewers into a space of calm and contemplation—where nature’s quiet rhythms meet the vast unknown.
Frankie’s process draws inspiration from natural phenomena observed across the globe. Her use of materials such as resin, ink, and pigment layers creates richly organic forms that echo waves, clouds, and cosmic landscapes. With each piece, she seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and stillness, offering a visual sanctuary that nurtures introspection and emotional connection.
Trained in both acrylic and traditional Chinese painting, Frankie blends classical foundations with experimental techniques to create work that is both timeless and contemporary. After more than a decade as a Senior Art Director in fashion and luxury advertising, she returned fully to her studio practice—reconnecting with her artistic roots and her deep reverence for nature.
Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
