Original Watercolor painting based on my own photo of the Boat Shop located in Chestertown, Md with boats and background added to the scene for interest. Chestertown is a lovely old town on the Maryland's upper Eastern Shore. Fun to wander around and take in the ambiance while searching for scenes to paint. The remains of the boat builder pictured here captured my fancy and made the great basis for a composite painting. I've tried to find it again on subsequent trips, but without success. Perhaps I captured it just in time.
