Original Watercolor of an old truck "in retirement" at the old Gold King Mine in Jerome, AZ. Any visit to Jerome should include a trip to Jerome and the mine just outside of town. A historic mining town built into the side of the mountain, it has tremendous charm. The owner, now deceased, was a Real wild west character and collected old trucks, mining equipment and paraphernalia at the mine. He looked like an 1800's era mountain man and was a really interesting character. I chatted with him for 45 mins or so before making the rounds and discovering this gem crying out to be captured.
