Sunsets are a popular motif for landscape painters, and I'm no exception. There is just something about the glow of a multi-colored sky that draws the eye and stirs the imagination. And a sunset over water is double the pleasure. This piece is done from my imagination based on viewing many, many sunset on the rivers surrounding Chesapeake Bay.
