Standing before Monets huge panoramic canvases in Tate Britain and MoMA in New York was the inspiration for the many paintings of waterlilies I have painted over the years and I couldn’t wait to see if I would get similar inspiration from the Garden itself.
Thankfully, Monets garden at Giverny was everything I had hoped for and these new paintings are directly inspired by my recent visit.
