Craigievar Castle is a fortified country house, in the traditional Scottish Baronial style, near Alford, in Aberdeenshire.
The setting is among the scenic rolling foothills of the Grampian mountains.
The castle walls are covered in a distinctive pink harling which helps to create a classic fairytale appearance, which is believed to have inspired the castle which appears in Walt Disney’s ‘The Sleeping Beauty’.
